Applications are considered against criteria to make sure that Second Byte IT achieves its aims. Typically for applications from organisations the following criteria are used

of benefit to the Second Byte IT area community (primarily North and North East Lincolnshire but reflecting donors wishes too)?

status and aims of the organisation (registered charity? aims and objectives? start-up business?)

educational and/or training benefits?

public access to equipment (not always achievable)?

supporting other programmes of regeneration (Single Regeneration Budget area; European etc.)?

For individual applications other factors are considered, such as whether the applicant is in receipt of benefit or suffering from a disability; assisting with training or education need; within the Second Byte IT area (see above).
